Duration of studies for all mentioned specializations, is aligned with the Decision in Bologna and is 4 years.

Directions for  graduates preparation

 Types of skills (cognitive and functional) that students acquire in the subjects covered in the curriculum of the Faculty of Agricultural Management are:

  • acquisition principles, mechanisms and features: Micro and macro economics, Technology field crops, Informatics and computer, Communication management, Consumer protection, Tourism bases, Cultural Tourism, Financial Management;
  • acquiring notions and concepts specific complementary areas: Law, Rural administration Agricultural Legislation, Sociology, Law and Administration in tourism, Community projects;
  • communication skills training in a professional context: Managerial communication, Negotiation in agro tourism, Negotiation techniques, Public relations;
  • use strategies: Farm management, Agricultural marketing, Rural development, Food policies, Negotiation in tourism, Public relations;
  • application of acquired knowledge in organizations in witch is made practice stage: Economic projects, Case studies, Business plan, Organization and planning in simulated business.

Career

Our faculty graduates may work in the following areas:

  • farms - economic and commercial department;
  • communal agricultural centers;
  • County Agricultural Departments of Agriculture and Rural Development;
  • Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MAFRD);
  • National Agency of Agricultural Consulting;
  • County Office of Agricultural Consulting;
  • Regional Development Agencies (RDAs);
  • state organs of development and rural planning (OCAOTA, OSPA, etc..);
  • education and research;
  • banking, insurance, state administration;
  • rural infrastructure;
  • experts at national and European (EU) level for Agriculture (trade, recovery, security, etc..), as experts in litigation arising from legal circulation of land;
  • Agro farms;
  • networks for agrotourist activity;
  • classic tourist network.
