The master program Processing ecological systems for advanced natural bioactive principles, has a tradition of more than 10 years at the Faculty of Food Engineering, to specialize engineers in the main technologies to obtain and process naturale bioactive principles. The master program is accredited (ARACIS Address No. 6970/18.11.2008) and part of the Official list of higher education study domains and specializations (M.O. nr. 140/16.03.2017). The program offers budget places / scholarships and places with tuition fee, day frecquency class.
 
Professional skills:
  • Knowing the main production and processing technologies of the natural bioactive principles
  • Exploitation of the main equipments for producing and processing natural bioactive principles
  • Knowing and developing new directions for using natural bioactive principles (in the food industry to replace synthetic additives, in cosmetics and pharmaceutical industry)
  • Study of processes to obtain additives and ingredients for ecologic multifunctional additivation
  • Knowing national and European legislation regarding the control of additives in food.

The master program FOOD – HUMAN NUTRITION, it’s a new master program at the Faculty of Food Engineering, to specialize food engineers in designing special food products with different nutritional requirements for special consumers. The master program is accredited (ARACIS Address No. 6179/22.07.2013) and part of the Official list of higher education study domains and specializations (M.O. nr. 140/16.03.2017). The program offers budget places / scholarships and places with tuition fee, day frecquency class.
 
Professional skills:
  • Identifying, describing and appropriately use of specific notions to human nutrition
  • Evaluation of nutrition of products derived from vegetable and animal raw materials
  • Identifying and analyzing nutritional aspects by age groups
  • Recognizing nutritional imbalances and establishing appropriate diets by age group
  • Designing food products adapted to nutritional requirements for different groups of food consumers
  • Management of information systems based on nutritional indicators, applying appropriate sanitary legislation.
