Paper templatedownload the paper template. Do not change font or font-size or leading (line spacing).

The paper will be written in Microsoft Word “doc” format. The page size will be A4 (21×29.7 cm). Line spacing: single. Gutter: 0 cm Header: 1 cm, Footer: 1.5 cm. Page margins are Top 2.5 cm, Bottom 3 cm, Left 2.2 cm, Right 2.2 cm.
Each column width is 7.9 cm and the separation between the columns is 0.8 cm.
Paper title: In the title of the paper the initial letters should be capitalised in all words except articles and prepositions (e.g.: in, a, an, and, the, there, their, do, on, of, from, with, at etc.).
Authors: maximum 8 authors.
Length of the paper: Maximum 6 pages (including figures) and no page numbers.
Abstract: The manuscript should contain an abstract. An abstract is often presented separately from the article, so it must be able to stand alone. The abstract should not exceed 200 words in one paragraph. The abstract should state briefly the purpose of the research, the main results and major conclusions.
Keywords: Add maximum six keywords in alphabetical order, separated by commas.
The text should be arranged in the following order: IntroductionMaterial and methodsResults and discussion, and Conclusions.
1. Introduction: This section should be succinct. State the objectives of the work and provide an adequate background, avoiding a detailed literature survey or a summary of the results.
2. Materials and methods: The experimental methods should be described after the introductory material. Detailed experimental descriptions should be restricted to one section of the paper. Sufficient detail should be given to allow any experienced worker to implement the procedures described. Procedural steps should not be numbered.
A clear description or specific original reference is required for all biological, analytical, and statistical procedures. All modifications of procedures must be explained. Diets, dates of experimental activities if appropriate, animals [breed, sex, age, body weight, and weighing conditions (i.e., with or without restriction of feed and water)], measurements, and statistical models should be described clearly and fully.
Appropriate statistical methods should be used, although the biology should be emphasized. Statistical methods commonly used in the animal sciences need not be described in detail, but adequate references should be provided
3. Results and discussion: Results should be clear and concise. References will be indicated in text in squared brackets, by consecutive numbers [1,3-6]. The full reference should be given in a list at the end of the paper in order of appearance, indicating the full journal names (see examples below); do not use auto-numbering or bullets.
The discussion should interpret the results clearly and concisely
4. Conclusions: On the basis of the original researches, pointing the main conclusion of the work.
Acknowledgments: All acknowledgments (if any) should be included at the very end of the manuscript before the references and may include supporting grants, presentations, and so forth.
References: Authors are responsible for ensuring that the information in each reference is complete and accurate. All references must be numbered consecutively and citations of references in text should be identified using numbers in square brackets (e.g., “as discussed by Smith [9]”; “as discussed elsewhere [9, 10]”). All references should be cited within the text; otherwise, these references will be automatically removed.
Preparation of Figures: Each figure should be embedded in the electronic manuscript file. All figures should be cited in the manuscript in a consecutive order. Each figure is subject to resizing to fit into the column's width of or the full text width for consistency and clarity. The labels of the figures are also subject to resizing http://spasb.ro/index.php/spasb to be of minimum 9pt.
Preparation of Tables: Tables should be cited consecutively in the text. Every table must have a descriptive title and if numerical measurements are given, the units should be included in the column heading. Vertical rules should not be used.
Units of Measurement: Units of measurement should be presented simply and concisely using System International (SI) units. In general, non-standard abbreviations should be used only when the full term is very long and used often. Each abbreviation should be spelled out and introduced in parentheses the first time it is used in the text.
Submission
Authors are encouraged to submit high quality, original work that has not appeared in, nor is under consideration by, other journals. Papers which have previously appeared in conference proceedings will also be considered, and this should be so indicated at the time of submission.

Papers should be submmited electronic at: http://spasb.ro/index.php/spasb

Each manuscript should be accompanied by a Cover Letter stating that the article is original and unpublished, is being submitted only to this editor and is not being considered for publication at any other journal. The corresponding author must obtain the consent of all the co-authors for the submission of the manuscript. Experiments using animals must adhere to internationally accepted guidelines for the use of animals in research.
The letter should include the corresponding author’s email address, fax, telephone, and complete mailing address.
The accepted manuscript or other contributions will be published in the Print/or Online versions of Scientific Papers Animal Science and Biotechnologies. When the manuscript is accepted for publication, the principal/corresponding Author will be asked to assign the Cover Letter.
The filled and assigned Cover Letter should be submitted, after being scanned, as a supplementary file, along with the final revised form of the manuscript on the Scientific Papers Animal Science and Biotechnologies Journal’s website www.spasb.ro
