FOREIGN CITIZENS FROM EU THIRD COUNTRIES TO UNIVERSITY STUDIES
BACHELOR AND MASTER STUDIES
For each faculty (119 Calea Aradului, 300645 Timisoara, Romania), the candidates must prepare 2 identical files:
- One file for obtaining the Letter of Acceptance from the Ministry of Education and Research. The file containing all the documents must be sent to the following email address: [email protected].
- One application file for the Faculty the candidates wish to apply to. The documents are the same as for the file for obtaining the Letter of Acceptance.
Exception: For candidates to the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, the application files (both CNRED and the file for the Faculty) must be sent by post. See more details here: https://www.usab-tm.ro/en/admission-11082.
REQUIRED DOCUMENTS
1. TWO ORIGINAL APPLICATION FORMS (NON-EU) WITH THE CANDIDATE PHOTO ON THEM - CLIK HERE
2. Certificate of education – copy and certified translation – which qualifies the person concerned for the respective form of education (baccalaureate diploma, bachelor’s degree, master’s degree or equivalent);
- If a baccalaureate / bachelor’s / master’s degree Diploma has not been issued, a certificate will be required from high school / university to show that the candidate has passed and promote the baccalaureate / bachelor’s / dissertation exam and the grade / average obtained.
3. Transcript of records – copies and legalized translations – related to studies and analytical syllabus for candidates seeking recognition of study periods
4. Identification paper – copy:
- Birth Certificate – copy for documents in Romanian language / English / French / Spanish / Italian, and authorised translation in Romanian for other languages;
- Passport;
- Identity card;
- Proof of legal name change, if applicable, copy for documents in Romanian language / English / French / Spanish / Italian, and authorised translation in Romanian for other languages;
5. Birth certificate – copy and legalized translation
6. Medical certificate (in an international language) to prove that the person registered for studies does not suffer from spreading diseases or other illnesses that are incompatible with the future profession. The University reserves the right to further request the opinion of a specialized medical commission (Occupational Medicine) to check candidates with chronic diseases/disabilities.
ALL these documents MUST be sent in authenticated copies and certified translation (ORIGINAL) in Romanian language!!!
7. Proof of payment for the file processing fee: 100 Euro receipt
At enrolment the candidates must bring:
- Original study documents certified by competent authorities of the issuing country, as well as authorized translation of the study documents in the language requested by the university.
- Certificate of birth (original and authorized translation).
- Passport having the specific visa for studies. The visa for studies must be obtained from the competent authorities before entering Romania to start the academic studies.
For the duration of their academic studies in Romania, non-EU citizens must also obtain the residence permit. This document is obtained after enrolment when the non-EU citizens are on Romanian territory.

100 Euro receipt - The beneficiary’s IBAN number along with the University’s/Faculty’s name and the candidate’s name must be referred to on the proof of payment!
All fees and taxes (admission, enrolment, urgent delivery and tuition) must be paid in Euro, in the following account:

8. Certificate of language competence English/French – Minim B1 level, issued by an authorised institution (for the four competences – writing, speaking, listening and reading).
9. Three (3) photos – passport size
10. Preparatory year diploma or certificate of proficiency in Romanian, for those applying for Romanian line.
!!! For citizens of the State of Israel, a psychometric entrance test is required (copy and certified translation (original) in Romanian language (certified by either a notary or an authorized translator)
! For the NON-EU students, the enrollment can be processed until 15th December 2024, due to the time required to obtain the visa.
